Make Christmas more joyful this year by adopting a military family through Heroes Under God’s Adopt-a-Family project. Join HUG as we spread Christmas cheer to our local military families. Sign up today and receive information on a family from Camp Pendleton, California. Help us show these families our love and appreciation for the sacrifice they make all year round.
The Adopt-a-Family program matches military families from, Camp Pendleton Marine Base, with individuals, families, or group sponsors to provide gifts for military families. When a match is made the family information and wish list are sent to the sponsor. The families names along with the children’s ages are given along with a wish list. This can include toys, clothing, household items or gift cards.
Sponsors come in many shapes and sizes. They can be individuals, families, small businesses, large corporations, or churches. In many of the larger corporation or churches, different departments or groups within the church often each adopt a family.
Heroes Under God would like to thank all of our Adopt-a-Family sponsors for their kind hearts and generosity. We appreciate everything you do to help us show thanks to our military personnel and their families.

Heroes Under God would like to take this time to join the rest of the nation in thanking America's 25 million veterans for their service to our country. We appreciate all of their sacrifice and dedication to our country and protecting our freedom. Veterans Day gives Americans the opportunity to celebrate the bravery to all who have served in the US military. Join Heroes Under God in taking the time to thank a veteran today and let them know that their sacrifice has not gone unnoticed. So many have given their lives for freedom and many have gone to war willing to give their lives. We also want to take time to recognize the Uknown Soldiers with a poem of rememberance. God Bless Our Troops.
Heroes Under God Adopts Marine Battalion Deployed to Afghanistan
October 2009
Heroes Under God is proud to announce that we have recently adopted 3D Amphibian Battalion out of Camp Pendleton, CA. Our battalion of 316 men and 6 women left for Iraq in October 2009 and are scheduled to be in Afghanistan for a year. Please keep these men and their families in your thoughts and prayers during their time away from home. Heroes Under God is constantly fundraising to ship much needed care packages and supplies to these brave men and women. It is our hope to provide each soldier with a specially designed military bible, spiritually uplifting materials, and basic sanitary supplies while they are there. Thank you for your support!
Heroes Under God Ships Care Packages to Iraq
June 2009
In June of 2009 Heroes Under God Shipped Care Packages to 207 soldiers serving overseas. Each Care Package included a specially designed camouflage Bible, camouflage bandana with scripture printed on it, a copy of "The Servant" Christian comic book, letters and prayers from our supporters, AT&T calling cards and tons of nutritious snacks and goodies from home. Thank you so much to those of you that supported this effort. It's because of people like you that we are able to reach out to our soldiers with physical, emotional, and spiritual support and kindness. May God Continue to Bless you and your families!
Heroes Under God Adopts Marine Battalion
March 2009
Heroes Under God is proud to announce that we have recently adopted 4th AABN Bravo Company, a Marine Battalion out of Galveston, Texas Coast Guard Base. Our battalion of 209 men left for Iraq in February 2009 and are scheduled to be in active duty overseas for a year. Please keep these men and their families in your thoughts and prayers during their time away from home. Heroes Under God is constantly fundraising to ship much needed care packages and supplies to these brave men. It is our hope to provide each soldier with a specially designed military bible, spiritually uplifting materials, and basic sanitary supplies while they are there. Thank you for your support!
Heroes Under God Supports Military Wives Valentine's Day Luncheon

Valentine's Day for most of us is a joyous occasion with flowers and candies from our loved ones. However, if your loved one is overseas fighting in Iraq or Afghanistan I'm sure Valentine's Day can be exceptionally stressful and lonely. That's why, thanks to your generous support, Heroes Under God was able to donate funds to a Military Wives Valentine's Day Luncheon. This luncheon was complete with a gourmet meal, raffle games, door prizes, and gift bags for all of the wives whose husbands cannot be with them this Valentine's Day. Thank you so much for making events like this possible!
Heroes Under God Participates in Camp Pendleton Christmas Party

Thanks to the generous support of our donors Heroes Under God was able to provide Christmas toys to the children of military parents who were serving overseas during the holiday season as well as Christmas gifts to soldiers who had recently returned from Iraq. Heroes Under God gave away over 500 dolls and trucks to the children and over 300 gift bags to the men and women of the 9th Communication Battalion out of Camp Pendleton. It was a wonderful time for the marine spouses to meet one another, the children to play together, and the Marines to relax and have a good time. All were blessed by the support we were able to provide. Thank you so much for making events like this possible!
Heroes Under God ships 200 Care Packages for the Christmas Season
During November and December of 2008 Heroes Under God shipped over 200 care packages to the men and women serving in Iraq. Each care package contained a specially designed military bible, camouflage bandana with scripture printed on it, a special prayer for soldiers, nutritious snacks, and other miscellaneous items to show our love and support for our military men and women. It’s so important to remember our soldiers all year long but especially during the holiday season when they miss their loved ones the most. Thanks to you we were able to share the comfort and peace only Christ can bring during this time of year.
